My name is Gelsomina and during the lockdown, I was fortunate to stumble across Making The Leap while searching for online opportunities.
Ever since graduating from my MA in Media and Communications in December, I have been struggling to find a job. Making the Leap could not have come at a better time as joining them kept my morale up during lockdown and – simultaneously – aided me in preparing myself for work-life post lockdown.
My experience with Making The Leap has been wonderful! I have changed so much as a person and have become so sure of myself and my talents. The virtual workshops Making The Leap offer have helped me to comprehend my abilities. This – in turn – has helped me to gain tremendous confidence within myself. Ultimately, this boost of confidence has helped me to land a position as a Casting Agent Intern. I am not only over the moon with this achievement but also, I am over the moon with finding my inner strength. I believe this light will never fade now and it is something that will continuously burn thanks to Making The Leap.
