Our Believe to Achieve project, supported by PA Consulting and The PA Foundation, has wrapped up for another academic year! We delivered the programme in three secondary schools across Westminster and surrounding boroughs, supporting 290 sixth form students with career insights, employability activities and essential soft skills development. Throughout the year, 64 PA Consulting volunteers generously gave their time to share their professional experience, insights and advice with students.

The programme continues to show how transformative early exposure can be – whether it’s students hearing directly from PA volunteers about real career routes or gaining insight into workplace expectations. These moments help students broaden their sense of what’s possible and build the confidence to take their next steps.

Here’s how students themselves described the impact:

“Before, I was very focused on going to university – but hearing about PA volunteers’ different career journeys opened my eyes to other options, including degree apprenticeships. The skills I’ve developed will also benefit me in any future career.”

Rwan

“The programme opened my eyes to see what a real business would be like, what coming into work would be like, and what employers expect from you. It made me realise there’s never just one pathway to a career and that there are many different ways to get where you want to be.”

A huge thank you to PA Consulting, The PA Foundation, our partner schools and all the volunteers who helped make another year of Believe to Achieve possible.
