How our young people are benefitting from the support of our corporate partners:

Completing the workshop when I was 17 left me feeling empowered. I had the opportunity to connect and network with companies such as Mindshare through Making The Leap which allowed me access to exclusive opportunities such as mentoring schemes, sessions and events. I can proudly say that after months of endless support from Making The Leap I am working as an apprentice with Mindshare. Being able to work with Mindshare has given me the confidence to experiment with different platforms and tasks that I would have never had the chance to complete if I didn’t accept the apprenticeship.”
Denise, MTL Fellow

“I am extremely grateful for the work Making The Leap has done regarding my career. The skills shared during my time at the workshops are priceless and instilled the confidence needed to succeed in the workplace. I am currently working at Kingfisher PLC (Partnering company) which I was fortunate enough to hear about through Krupa at MTL. The position was initially a three-month contract, however, due to hard work I was offered a permanent role after 6 months at the company. Making The Leap is an organisation that truly care about your well-being and career.
Ekene, MTL Fellow

I found my job as a result of the partnership between Making The Leap and the company I now work at. This opportunity has made me feel as though nothing is out of my reach. I’ve been able to learn new skills and meet inspirational people on the journey so far. I am being stretched and challenged to achieve my full potential. I feel I am growing and on my way to achieving my personal and professional goals.”
Omolara, MTL Fellow

Having access to the skills and expertise of volunteers from companies has dramatically increased my confidence when applying for jobs and preparing for interviews. It is without doubt that my preparation for my recent interview was made 100 times better with the help of MTL volunteers. I am very lucky to have access to such incredible help.”
Tasneen, MTL Fellow
